Religion and Diplomacy

I often in my blog as a religious minister in Islam known as a Imam talk about the important role all religions can play in helping to turn around the crisis concerning the environment.
I will come back to this later inshala.
However a area that not many religious leaders seem to know about and where real progress can be made is in the role as diplomats.
There is a urgent need for religious leaders around the world to be trained up in peacekeeping and conflict resolution. management and skills , and skills enabling them to work along side politicians.

There are many instances where conflicts cannot be resolved just through the normal channels of political diplomacy and this is where the expertise from the religious diplomats takes over.

This new and exciting and most important area is something I fully support and welcome all religious leaders to partake in for the sake of humanity at large.
