It appears for the first time in history consumerism, materialism, whatever you wish to call it has become to the focus, the new driving force for humanity.
For the first time in history, religion has not been the focus or the ignition behind this social change in mankind.
We see this change towards consumerism globally, wherever we look and we daily as humans compete in any way we can over goods.
We think it brings happiness, but in the long run although it might for a short time, it does not last.
Its like the picture above, the object that we all are heading in seems glamorous, but in fact it leads to a dead end, just like the island here. it looks lovely but after a short while there is no where to go and wherever you look there is no escape.
Likewise with consumerism it also looks wonderful but in the end it cannot keep you alive forever, it cannot sustain happiness and contentment and peace.
