The blessed month of Ramadan starts the 1st August for the world Muslims. This marks a full month of fasting from sunrise to sunset, where every adult Muslim abstains from food, drink, sexual intercourse.
this is a divine command by God, although not new to Muslims and Islam. If one looks at the bible and Old Testament one will see past prophets AS also fasting through commands from God, sadly neglected by masses today from Christianity and Judaism.
Ramadan means also a month of spiritual perfection, drawing closer to our creator, asking for forgiveness and at the same time spending the hours fasting thinking about the masses of people starving due to corruption and slavery .
