I recall one of my dearest teachers who while I was studying in South Africa took me and some other students to the Indian Ocean near Durban. We arrived there just after sunset and it was peaceful and so beautiful.
He begun what I think was now a half hour lecture on the ocean.
But what he also said which remains with me is he said " Why is it that man always heads to the ocean, a mountain, a lake, a valley, the jungle"/
We thought but did not reply, his answer was " Because only if we new it, in these places which is the real wilderness is perfection and there is no evil".
Those words remain with me , hence I'm sharing with you all. its true when you think, the places my teacher described are places where there is no evil. There is no evil in the ocean or in the jungle.
Simple words but strong and wonderful.
