There is a commonly held belief that there are three Abrahamic faiths of Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Although it is a contemporary belief to state there are three, as just written in fact the Bible does not contain any instruction to enter into a religion called Judaism or Christianity.
Noah ( AS) Abraham AS IshmaelASIsaacAS and JacobAS came beofre the words Judaism and Christianity even existed.
In the Quran Chapter 3 vs 67
the Quran says ( Abraham was neither a jew or christian but he was Haneefan Muslimaa ( this is arabic) meaning an upright Monotheist who submitted himself to Allah. it goes on to say-and he was not those who associated partners with Allah in worship).
For this reason the creator who sent Abraham as a Prophet addressed those who would dispute this matter saying
( O People of the scripture, (meaning jews and christians) Why do you dispute about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed till after him?
have you then no sense?
