A Matter of Faith

In these testing times as muslim it  is easy to get dispondent when we look at the atate that the ummah is in.
You will find some who still think we can work for a truly islamic Khalifa with Shariah law.
I personaly dont think so. One only has to look first at the situation that is in front of us to see that we are witnessing times that the world has never seen before.
The west mainly America and allies have full control of the seas, skies, space and economics, military.
But still there are some muslims even though they may have good intentiobns that think all this might can be overthrown and somewhere on earth, or across the whole of the Middle east a islamic Khalifat can once again exist.
What I think we must do is to connect to our faith protect our faith and our Iman and our families. yes where we can speak out against the injustice  and oppresion in the world and those that try to  create false accusations against the muslims. yes thats good where it can be done.
We are ofcourse told inQuran and hadith about the minor and greater signs, that will take place before the end of the world.
briefly without going into depth, the muslim version of Armageddon is to be fought out in and around palestine where the city of megiddo gave the christian armageddon its name, is one of increased polarisation between the forces of good and evil or beleif and disbeleif and between the religiopus and secular.

They the muslims and the enemies will fight to begin with over mountains of black gold near the Euphrates, a reference to oil possibly? and a phase I think we have entrerd into at least since the gulf war in 1991.
The muslims at this point will be disunited and weak, which reminds me of the hadith, No 181 from the book  called
The Reality of Wordly Life by Maulana hakim Mohammad Akhtar.
In this hadith in which is quoted the Messanger SAW is asked about the future as to the condition that the muslims would find themselves.
At this time as well the enemies will be very powerful and I to can see this and sure everyone can see how powerful the new world power of America is as it dominates just about every corner of earth and just about every aspect of human life.
This is also the time where the word will be stronger than the sword as mnetioned by Bleher ( 1999) in The New Millennium, Through Muslim Eyes.

He does not explain the meaning of this but perhaps it could be this time where the media is so powerful that thier propaganda is spoken and the masses beleive it as a true word. its like as the US and Britain often say its a time  for winning minds and hearts, which I have heard often on the news channels.
it is a time sadly as well that most of the muslims will fall to this word spoken by others, the so called propaganda and we will see islam leaving muslim hearts. This also brings that same Hadith back again which refers to the prophet SAW as he replies to the questioner "Shall we then be small in numbers?" The holy Prophet SAW replied "You will rather be in multitudes at that time but you will be like scum and rubbish swept by a torrent and Allah will take away from the hearts of your enemies your awe and majesty and will charge your hearts with wahn"
The Dajjal will have a river and a fire. His river will be hell and his fire paradise. it will be difficult to hold on to ones faith at this time like one holding onto a piece of coal.
Then a small but purified army of muslim beleivers will gather under a black banner from the east and from the west enemies will be waiting.
The jews will drwa together from all over the world and ascend on palestine, the land of the Qarqad Tree. This is the only tree behind which they the jews and others will find shelter. 
It carries on  with the false messiah until the event of Jesus returning and soon then the world will end.
Allah SWT says in the Quran
"say truth has come and falsehood has vanished, for falsehood must vanish"
(Surah 17, al- Isra verse 81.
